During pregnancy a woman suffers from lots of uneven conditions of her life. It has been noticed that pregnancy lasts for 40 weeks, furthermore those weeks are divided into three trimesters: 1st trimester, 2nd trimester, and 3rd trimester respectively. 1st trimester weeks are 1 to 12, 2nd trimester weeks are 13 to 27, and 3 rd trimester weeks are 28 to 40.
Most women feel that the 2nd trimester is way much easier than the 1st trimester, though it is important to have knowledge of your pregnancy week by week as it keeps you informed and prepared about the upcoming changes and decisions of yours. Probably at the time of the 2nd trimester you will notice that the baby has grown larger and stronger than earlier, and you’ll notice a larger belly too.
Various hormonal changes take place during the 1st trimester of the pregnancy and at the same instance many symptoms come into existence, but according to the surveys the 2nd trimester improves the symptoms of the 1st trimester which makes a woman stronger, and they start considering it as an easy and enjoyable trimester. There’s good news for a woman that 2nd trimester pregnancy pains are way lighter than the 1st trimester. I would like to advise every pregnant woman over here that do not take any of the weeks lightly of your pregnancy. Some of the second-trimester symptoms not to be ignored are stated below.
- Baby starts moving
- As the baby enlarges in your abdomen, the uterus expands
- Larger belly
- Sometimes you may have a low blood pressure which makes you dizzy
- Body aches, skin changes, itching, patches of darker skin
- Stretch marks are experienced on your body parts like stomach, breast, thighs, and buttocks
- Swelling
These are the major symptoms about which you should be aware of. Especially during this trimester, many women report nausea and fatigue, if you experience symptoms like nausea, fatigue, vomiting, jaundice, extreme swelling, etc. then hurry on and call your doctor at the very moment if you notice any of the symptoms.
Expectation from doctors
Those weeks in the second trimester bring up a drastic change in the baby’s growth, thus the doctor’s responsibility is to inform you about the possible test which gives you the assurance that there will be any kind of birth defect or not? For this purpose ultrasound test is a must. The doctor must be aware of your physical changes like your weight and symptoms like low blood pressure and diabetes. Furthermore with the help of an ultrasound doctor can even help you in knowing about the sex of your newborn, it is upon you that you wanna know the sex before birth or not, the choice is yours.
What to eat during the 2nd trimester?
