When you go through the nine months of pregnancy, you can sometimes feel as if there’s a little person growing inside you. and you can’t help but wonder, How much has he/she grown? And How much longer until he’s born? The good news is that we are here to dispel all of your concerns regarding baby growth and development, as well as pregnancy care programs, by presenting you with this informative information.
Baby Growth During Pregnancy!
To begin with, let’s find out how much your baby has grown during each trimester of your pregnancy. We will also highlight important milestones that occur during each stage. Keep in mind that these are general guidelines and your baby might vary based on his/her gender, size and health conditions. Also, keep in mind that these are just estimates and there might be small changes in the numbers mentioned below, which is normal.
First Trimester (Week 1-12 Week)
The first trimester will extend from conception to 12 weeks. This usually occurs throughout the first 3 months of pregnancy. The first trimester is a special time for your baby too. During the first trimester, your baby is in the womb, or in the embryonic stage of development.
During this period, the placenta grows as well. The placenta is a circular, flat organ that transports nutrition from the mother to the baby while also carrying waste from the foetus. Consider the placenta to be a feeding supply for the foetus during your pregnancy.
Even your baby’s body and organs are forming. Your baby’s sex is starting to become more obvious. your baby’s heartbeat is becoming stronger, your baby’s head is smaller than a pea, and the skull hasn’t formed yet as well as you can now feel certain body parts, such as your baby’s feet and hands who don’t have bones yet. You may not be able to feel your baby moving around, but your baby is still very active.
Second Trimester (13-28 Weeks)
Goodnews for mom-to-be, this will be smoother & easier to tackle than the first trimester!
During the first two trimesters, the foetus is more reliant on the mother’s blood and nutrition. As a result, the foetus’ metabolism is more comparable to the mother’s than it is in the final two trimesters, when it is more close to the metabolism of a regular grownup. Going for a pregnancy diet program is a superb idea to know what to eat & what not.
The second trimester is where your baby is growing the fastest. During this period, you may notice more motion and kicking than you did previously of your pregnancy.
Throughout the second trimester, your doctor will examine your pregnancy to verify that everything is progressing well for you and your baby. Your doctor may also advise you to take more regular pregnancy tests throughout this period to assure there are no complications. As well as registering for pregnancy care programs will be helpful in this period.
Even in the second trimester of pregnancy, your body is incredibly changing and you are gradually gaining weight. You’re also beginning to feel different on the inside. Your uterus is still growing, and an ultrasound can trace a baby heartbeat. Joining pregnancy care programs is something you should definitely go for. You may also find that some of your earlier symptoms are fading.
Third Trimester (29-40 Weeks)
The third trimester is when most the baby’s body begins to quickly expand and change, and the baby’s physical traits become more obvious. The arms and legs grow, the jaw begins to form, and the head expands.
However, the infant’s body is capable of protecting itself in the last trimester, and its functions develop quicker than bodily tissues. This development surge, known as the third trimester, is responsible for the majority of the dramatic changes that take place over the last months of pregnancy.
Throughout the third trimester, the foetus also undergoes a lot of changes, including hair growth, organ development, and the beginning of movements that will allow the infant to interact with the environment around them. If you get late, this is absolutely the right time to join the garbh sanskar program . The third trimester is also when the majority of infants are born.
The majority of third trimester infants are born between the ages of 26 and 32 weeks. Some are born as early as 23 weeks and as late as 36 weeks. This is determined by the size of the infant, the mom’s health, and the growth of the child’s wellbeing and health.
